Whys that Saul?

They're rebuilding White Hart Lane to be better than what they would have ended up with at the OS, probably cheaper too.

So, again, not a had to.

Re: "Our customers" - Karren Brady
What has the people who live round the ground got to do with us having to move? Move someone equally as inconvenient to its surroundings as we've seen with Westfield.

Rather than drivel on how's about you explain why we had to move.

We chose to move to better ourselves (apparently), well BERKS Inc did, we didn't have a choice, there was no had to about it, simple as that.

As a fan or customer, i want to be fucking entertained. Most of our matches have been dogshit this season

As soon as spurs started to take interest in stratford we HAD to go for the move. If those cunts moved into Stratford we would have been on a long process of dying

Johnson, you seem so full of anger, on almost every topic, I doubt you could ever see the reason in any argument other than your own view point.

That aside surely, even to someone as myopic as you, it is obvious the area around our old ground is so utterly culturally changed, particularly in the last 20 years and more so in the last 10, as to render our club an irrelevance and, on match day, a total inconvenience to the local population.

The only people that will miss us are the owners of Nathan's pie and mash, the Boleyn and the Queens pubs and possibly Tony's Cafe.

It would be interesting to do a WHO poll to find out what % currently lives within 2 miles of the Boleyn Ground

I agree with most of what you say but something dramatic needs to happen between and and next season to stop attendances falling away .I try like most fans to stay positive unlike some on here who seem revel at the thought of a half empty stadium.

Re: "Our customers" - Karren Brady
Our previous 2 ownerships were tight cunts followed by some ignorant of West Ham/English football and then ending up bankrupt cunts. The current ones are businessmen cunts which will be followed by most likely mega rich want a play thing cunts.

Johnson why do you think you have the heads up and you are clued up on football club owners when you are just stating the bleeding obvious?

Re: "Our customers" - Karren Brady
No set of new fans will be flocking to replace the old guard like what happened at Man City and it's blindingly obvious why. The Thais and Arabs were not fielding a team largely made up of fucking shit house cheap signings scraping around to avoid relegation.

I'd be interested to what other board members over the years have called us.

Probably top of the list is mugs

The move did not "have to happen", at all lard, thus the rest of your post is bullshit, as usual.

Re: "Our customers" - Karren Brady
Like I say, a small thing but by ceding control of the ground, huge barriers have been put up by my exit preventing thousands of us from going to the closest station having to walk a massive route round it. Say what you want about that being the stadium operators or the police but the fact remains that they didn't think enough of us when planning the move to take that into account. It's the only place I've ever been to where home fans are made More uncomfortable than away fans. It's fucking mental.

Clapton FC in Forest Gate still going OK, gates around 500 for home games.

Re: "Our customers" - Karren Brady
what did they do to extend your walk to the station?

Hermit Road 3:20 Sun Jan 1
Re: "Our customers" - Karren Brady
I happen to think the move did need to happen mainly because of the threat of Haringey playing their home matches in West Ham. That being said, the way they have gone about the move has been a utter disgrace and Johnson is right, our attendances will continue to tail off as a result. One little thing. At the start of the season I had a five minute walk back to the station after the game. That's now become a half hour trek, all because the club seem intent on not giving a fuck about the support. And that's from someone who supported the move and was excited about moving.

Admiral Lard 3:12 Sun Jan 1
Re: "Our customers" - Karren Brady
Johnson, RC simply has a grip on reality, you do not.

I don't want to be unsympathetic (even to you) the move had to happen, inevitably with change some won't like it. They will move on as you and perhaps a few hundred others appear to be doing.

The net effect will be a new group of fans will come in to replace those of you that chose not to renew, as has happened at Manchester City.

Maybe you could channel your bile in a more positive manner by buying out the daggers and setting up AFC West Ham.

Something else you may not have taken note of, the area around our old ground holds no relevance to the long lost past. There almost no old school Cockneys left there at all. Both East Ham United dissolved some years ago as they quite simply could not find players or club members to support their clubs and Barking FC struggle on in the Essex senior league playing on front of 30-40 fans each week

The old East End is long gone, face up to it

Re: "Our customers" - Karren Brady
Fuck off it was a fortress .

At best your talking about days long long past & on matters I could no longer give a shit about & certainly it never ever was " a fortress" on the playing side, not unless you want to sweep away the many home pastings, multiple relegation fights & multiple relegations. That's the real fact matey.

It's simple fucking laughable & you must be a complete cunt for buying in to that myth. However, if you want it to wear as a comfort blanket thinking it was something special & it gives you some kind of solace then you carry on wearing it old son as I couldn't give a fuck.

It was about as much of a fortress as George Michael's arsehole was.

How about telling stewards to treat fans like err... fans?

Johnson 12:38 Sun Jan 1
Re: "Our customers" - Karren Brady
RC - A lot of away fans and players saw it that way.

Whether you like it or not that's a FACT, the OS is walknin the park for visiting parties.

It's absolutely shit.

Willtell 12:26 Sun Jan 1
Re: "Our customers" - Karren Brady
I'm sure you're right about a lot of things that have changed but telling new stewards to treat fans as customers is not the problem here....
